ADAPTIVE BACKSTEPPING CONTROL OF UNCERTAIN LORENZ SYSTEM
International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 2001In this paper, we consider the problem of controlling chaos in the well-known Lorenz system. Firstly we show that the Lorenz system can be transformed into a kind of nonlinear system in the so-called general strict-feedback form. Then, adaptive backstepping design is used to control the Lorenz system with three key parameters unknown.

Adaptive Fuzzy Backstepping Control for Ballbot Segway
2021 International Conference on System Science and Engineering (ICSSE), 2021This paper proposes an adaptive fuzzy backstepping control (AFBSC) for a Segway ball system. AFBSC is developed through a combination of two primary backstepping controllers (BSC) to enhance the control performance of the system, in which a Sugeno fuzzy model adjusts the parameters in the control design.
