Minimal residual disease (MRD) leads to cancer relapse and poor survival in ovarian cancer. The lack of representative 3D models limits therapy development. The microfluidics‐based high throughput 3D microtumor platform described here generates clinically‐relevant MRD models. The 3D microtumors recapitulate the molecular signatures of MRD from patients.

A Wearable IoT Aldehyde Sensor for Pediatric Asthma Research and Management [PDF]
Mechanistic studies of pediatric asthma require objective measures of environmental exposure metrics correlated with physiological responses. Here we report a cloud-based wearable IoT sensor system which can measure an asthma patient's exposure to aldehydes, a known class of airway irritants, in real-life settings.

Synthesis of vinyl boronates from aldehydes by a practical boron-Wittig reaction.
A highly stereoselective boron-Wittig reaction between stable and readily accessible 1,1-bis(pinacolboronates) and aldehydes furnishes a variety of synthetically useful di- and trisubstituted vinyl boronate esters.

The Study Of Quality And Safety Parameters Of The Special Vodka Of Native Production [PDF]
Insofar as country is in unstable situation, many goods and products of the low quality and falsified ones appeared on the native market. Excise alcohol production is the most beneficial for falsification, because its profitability is very high.Among ...

Imine Crosslinked, Injectable, and Self‐Healing Fucoidan Hydrogel with Immunomodulatory Properties
This study develops an injectable fucoidan‐based hydrogel with tunable properties for tissue engineering. By oxidizing fucoidan (OFu) to introduce aldehydes, imine crosslinks are formed with amine‐containing polymers, enabling self‐healing, injectability, and long‐term stability (≥28 days). The OFu‐gelatin hydrogel demonstrated biocompatibility, immune‐

Alpha-tocopherol inhibits pore formation in the oxidized bilayers [PDF]
In biological membranes, alpha-tocopherols ({\alpha}-toc; vitamin E) protect polyunsaturated lipids from free radicals. Although the interactions of {\alpha}-toc with non-oxidized lipid bilayers have been studied, their on oxidized bilayers remain unknown.

The glyoxal budget and its contribution to organic aerosol for Los Angeles, California, during CalNex 2010 [PDF]
Recent laboratory and field studies have indicated that glyoxal is a potentially large contributor to secondary organic aerosol mass. We present in situ glyoxal measurements acquired with a recently developed, high sensitivity spectroscopic instrument ...
