4-Aminopyridine — A Review [PDF]
4-aminopyridine is the first of the aminopyridines to be used in clinical practice. It blocks potassium channels and thereby increases acetylcholine, and possibly noradrenaline, release at nerve terminals. In man the drug has a significant action at the neuromuscular junction, but has little effect on the autonomic nervous system or muscle (smooth ...

One-pot synthesis of tetracyclic fused imidazo[1,2-a]pyridines via a three-component reaction
A novel three-component reaction has been developed to assemble biologically and pharmaceutically important tetracyclic fused imidazo[1,2-a]pyridines in a one-pot fashion utilizing readily available 2-aminopyridines, isatins and isocyanides.

Regiodivergent C3 and C4 Amination of Quinolines via Radical and Ionic Pathways
A regiodivergent strategy converts a single N‐aminoquinolinium precursor into either C3‐ or C4‐aminated quinolines. Nucleophile‐induced dearomatization diverges into light‐driven N‐centered radical capture (C3) or base‐promoted SNAr (C4), enabling rapid assembly of aminoquinoline libraries and late‐stage diversification.
