TDP‐43 Aggregation: The Healthy‐Toxic Balance of the Prion‐Like Domain
TDP‐43 function relies on a delicate balance between reversible phase‐separated states and irreversible aggregation. Under physiological conditions, TDP‐43 forms dynamic droplets and oligomers that support normal cellular functions. In pathological contexts, this balance shifts toward aberrant aggregation, leading to toxic species.

Objectives The interleukin (IL)‐1, IL‐6, and C‐reactive protein (CRP) pathway is central to the immune response after intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). We tested for associations between hematoma and plasma cytokine concentrations and patient outcomes in Minimally Invasive Surgery Plus Rt‐PA for ICH Evacuation Phase III (MISTIE III) participants ...

Annexin A2: biology and relevance to the antiphospholipid syndrome [PDF]
Antiphospholipid antibodies (aPL), the majority of which are directed against β 2 -glycoprotein I (β 2 GPI), are associated with an increased incidence of venous and arterial thrombosis. The pathogenesis of antiphospholipid/anti-β 2

RNA-binding is an ancient trait of the Annexin family
Introduction: The regulation of intracellular functions in mammalian cells involves close coordination of cellular processes. During recent years it has become evident that the sorting, trafficking and distribution of transport vesicles and mRNA granules/

Abstract Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), ranking as the third leading cause of cancer‐related mortality globally, continues to pose significant therapeutic challenges. Here, we developed an innovative nanosystem, Phl@PT, based on Pt‐TiO2 nanoparticles for the co‐delivery of Phlorezin, presenting a novel approach for HCC treatment through sonodynamic ...

Prognostic significance of annexin A2 and annexin A4 expression in patients with cervical cancer [PDF]
The annexins (ANXs) have diverse roles in tumor development and progression, however, their clinical significance in cervical cancer has not been elucidated. The present study was to investigate the clinical significance of annexin A2 (ANXA2) and annexin A4 (ANXA4) expression in cervical cancer.ANXA2 and ANXA4 immunohistochemical staining were ...
