Chronic stress reshapes the gut microbiota and enriches Lactobacillus reuteri, promoting microbiota‐associated kynurenine accumulation through altered tryptophan metabolism. Kynurenine drives immunosuppressive remodeling of tumor‐associated macrophages through TNFR2–C/EBPβ signaling, thereby enhancing gastric cancer dissemination.

Isotypes and molecular masses of anti-Kme and anti-Kme3 antibodies.
Anti-Kme and anti-Kme3 antibodies were affinity purified using tandem columns. Antibodies bound to GGKme and GGKme3 beads were separately eluted (see Materials and Methods) and tested by ELISA for their isotypes and J chain protein.

This work develops a metabolic sharing strategy that employs cytidine monophosphate (CMP) to competitively reprogram floxuridine (FUDR) pyrimidine metabolism in colorectal tumor cells. Elevated intracellular FdUMP induces nucleotide imbalance, drives mitochondrial DNA release and cGAS‐STING innate immune cascade activation, and potentiates robust ...

In an earlier study, serum levels of natural antibody isotypes IgM- and IgG-binding keyhole limpet hemocyanin were found to be indicative for survival through the laying period of hens and therefore considered as promising traits for future ...

Sepsis triggers hippocampal SIRT7 loss, promoting histone H2B succinylation and activation of the PD‐1/PD‐L1–PINK1 axis. This metabolic‐epigenetic cascade drives aberrant mitophagy and neuronal injury, ultimately causing cognitive deficits. Targeting SIRT7‐dependent succinylation offers a potential strategy to protect brain function during sepsis ...

Using genetic code expansion, we engineered vascularized human cerebral organoids (vhCOs) with microglia‐like cells and blood‐brain barrier features. vhCOs recapitulate neurovascular interactions, regional identities, and neuronal subtypes resembling the fetal brain.

Lipid metabolism plays a vital role in viral infections. Here, we reveal that the lyssavirus N protein regulates GPAT4 to induce lipid droplet biogenesis, restricting CYB5R1 palmitoylation and reducing ferroptosis susceptibility to ultimately promote viral replication.

The GPX3‐VCAM1 Axis Gates Pro‐Fibrotic Tubule Cell Fate in Hyperuricemic Nephropathy
Hyperuricemia induces NLRP3 inflammasome signaling activation and downregulation of GPX3 in proximal tubular epithelial cells, leading to oxidative stress–driven VCAM1 upregulation, emergence of pro‐fibrotic proximal tubule cells, macrophage recruitment, and renal fibrosis.
