Interleukin (IL)-32 is produced by T lymphocytes, natural killer cells, monocytes, and epithelial cells. IL-32 induces the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, IL-1β, IL-6, and IL-8, and IL-32 expression is ...

Inactivation of RIP3 kinase sensitizes to 15LOX/PEBP1-mediated ferroptotic death
Ferroptosis and necroptosis are two pro-inflammatory cell death programs contributing to major pathologies and their inhibition has gained attention to treat a wide range of disease states.

In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

Antioxidative activity of a novel antioxidant resorcimoline
During the synthesis of a known drug, we synthesized a novel compound impromptu, which we have named resorcimoline. This compound exhibited significant antioxidative activity. In this report, we present the concentration-dependent free radical scavenging activity of resorcimoline against various free radical species.

Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.
