Co-regulated ceRNA network mediated by circRNA and lncRNA in patients with gouty arthritis
Numerous studies have demonstrated the involvement of messenger RNAs (mRNAs) and non-coding RNAs, including long non-coding RNAs (lncRNA), circular RNAs (circRNAs) and microRNA (miRNAs), in gouty arthritis onset; however, the regulatory mechanism has not

Studies on the Anti-Gouty Arthritis and Anti-hyperuricemia Properties of Astilbin in Animal Models
The purpose of this study was to investigate potential anti-gouty effect of astilbin (AS) and its possible mechanisms. In mice with hyperuricemia induced by potassium oxonate (OXO) and yeast extract powder (YEP), AS and febuxostat (FB) reduced the serum ...

[Nimesil treatment of gouty arthritis].
To evaluate efficacy and safety of nimesil, a selective inhibitor of cyclooxigenase-2, in gouty arthritis (GA).Nimesil was given to 20 male patients with GA (mean age 53.8 years, mean duration of the disease 8.1 years) in a dose 100 mg twice a day for 14 or 21 days depending on positive clinical changes (13 and 6 patients, respectively).

Alterations in articular cartilage frictional properties in the setting of acute gouty arthritis.
The tribological behaviour of articular cartilage plays a key role in joint motion; however, there is a gap in research on the effect of hyperuricemic joint fluid on cartilage friction behaviour in acute gouty arthritis.
