Asymmetric Catalysis with Helical Polymers [PDF]
AbstractInspired by nature, the use of helical biopolymer catalysts has emerged over the last years as a new approach to asymmetric catalysis. In this Concept article the various approaches and designs and their application in asymmetric catalysis will be discussed.

Copper(I)-catalyzed asymmetric alkylation of α-imino-esters
Asymmetric alkylation of enolates is one of the most direct and important reactions to prepare α-chiral carbonyl compounds. Except for the classical methods that rely on the use of chiral auxiliaries, asymmetric catalysis emerged as a powerful tool ...

Predicting the Stereoselectivity of Chemical Transformations by Machine Learning [PDF]
Stereoselective reactions (both chemical and enzymatic reactions) have been essential for origin of life, evolution, human biology and medicine. Since late 1960s, there have been numerous successes in the exciting new frontier of asymmetric catalysis.

Enantioselective synthesis and application to the allylic imidate rearrangement of amine-coordinated palladacycle catalysts of cobalt sandwich complexes [PDF]
The reaction of (η5-(N,N-dimethylaminomethyl)cyclopentadien-yl)(η4-tetraphenylcyclobutadiene)cobalt with sodium tetrachloropalladate and (R)-N-acetylphenylalanine gave planar chiral palladacycle di-μ-chloridebis[(η5-(Sp)-2-(N,N-dimethylaminomethyl ...

Masses of Heavy Quarkonium states in magnetized matter -- effects of PV mixing and (inverse) magnetic catalysis [PDF]
We study the in-medium masses of the heavy quarkonium (charmonium and bottomonium) states in isospin asymmetric nuclear matter in presence of an external magnetic field. The mass modifications of the heavy quarkonia are obtained from the medium modifications of a scalar dilaton field, $\chi$, calculated within a chiral effective model.
