This study demonstrates that transcription factor androgen receptor (AR) directly binds the LF promoter, driving lactoferrin overexpression to promote ferritin (FTH1/FTL) upregulation and inhibit p53‐ALOX12‐mediated ferroptosis in prostate cancer. Lactoferrin could be a new potential therapeutic target in prostate cancer.

Fucosylation of LAMP-1 and LAMP-2 by FUT1 correlates with lysosomal positioning and autophagic flux of breast cancer cells. [PDF]
Alpha1,2-fucosyltransferases, FUT1 and FUT2, which transfer fucoses onto the terminal galactose of N-acetyl-lactosamine via α1,2-linkage have been shown to be highly expressed in various types of cancers.

This study tests NeuroD1 AAV‐based gene therapy in a non‐human primate Alzheimer's disease model. The therapy prevents neuronal damage, inhibits hippocampal atrophy, and reduces neuroinflammation. It also repairs vascular and blood‐brain barrier damage, restores cerebrospinal fluid biomarkers, enhances hippocampal glucose metabolism, and improves ...

Macrophage Extracellular Traps in Immunity and Cancer
As a macrophage‐mediated innate defense mechanism, the dysregulated release of METs drives chronic inflammation and influences tumor progression. Furthermore, METs exhibit a functional duality within the tumor microenvironment, capable of both promoting and suppressing tumor development.

Vamp8 modulates cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury via the autophagy-lysosome pathway
Lysosomal autophagy plays a critical role in ensuring the continuity of autophagic flux, however bioinformatics studies investigating biomarkers associated with lysosomal autophagy in cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury(CIRI) remain scarce.

T Cell Exhaustion in Cancer Immunotherapy: Heterogeneity, Mechanisms, and Therapeutic Opportunities
T cell exhaustion limits immunotherapy efficacy. This article delineates its progression from stem‐like to terminally exhausted states, governed by persistent antigen, transcription factors, epigenetics, and metabolism. It maps the exhaustion landscape in the TME and proposes integrated reversal strategies, providing a translational roadmap to overcome

PA accumulates after hypoxic‐ischemic injury and stabilizes the E3 ligase TRIM59 in OPCs. Stabilized TRIM59 enhances ubiquitination and degradation of Olig2, blocking differentiation and causing hypomyelination in PWMI. Modulating PA synthesis restores Olig2 levels, improves myelination, and ameliorates behavioral deficits, defining a metabolically ...
