This study is the first to identify a novel neutrophil subpopulation, N4, that is closely associated with the progression of cervical cancer. Characterized by high PLAU expression and specific interactions with tumor cells, N4 neutrophils were shown to promote tumor growth and immune modulation.

Abstract Background Rhodococcus equi causes pneumonia in young foals, but disease susceptibility and severity vary. Cortisol and vitamin D modulate immune responses and cytokine production during bacterial infection, and altered concentrations are associated with sepsis in neonatal foals. We hypothesised an age and disease effect on circulating steroid

ABSTRACT MICA/B shedding from the membrane of cancer cells can inhibit natural killer (NK) cells from attacking hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). This study explored the role of HBx in mediating MICA/B shedding. The expression of HBx, MICA/B and HIF‐1α in HBV‐infected HCC was analysed using bioinformatics, and the localization of these proteins in ...

Review of expansion microscopy combined with advanced imaging modalities
Abstract Expansion microscopy (ExM) is a powerful high‐resolution imaging technique that enhances the spatial resolution of conventional light microscopy by physically enlarging biological specimens by embedding and cross‐linking them in a swellable polymer network.
