During the investigation of the role of protein synthesis in antigen‐presenting cell (APC) function of A20‐HL B lymphoma cells, we found that partial inhibition of protein synthesis enhanced their APC function. The treatment of A20‐HL cells with 0·313–2·5 μm emetine, an irreversible inhibitor of protein synthesis, decreased protein synthesis by 60–70%,

Background B7-H3 and B7-H4 are highly expressed by many human malignancies making them attractive immunotherapeutic targets. However, their expression patterns and immune contexts in epithelial ovarian cancer have not been well characterized.

Induction of Antigen-Specific Tumor Immunity by Genetic and Cellular Vaccines against MAGE: Enhanced Tumor Protection by Coexpression of Granulocyte-Macrophage Colony-Stimulating Factor and B7-1 [PDF]
A number of tumors express antigens that are recognized by specific cytotoxic T cells. The normal host immune responses, however, are not usually sufficient to cause tumor rejection. Using appropriate immunization strategies, tumor-specific antigens may serve as targets against which tumor-destructive immune responses can be generated.

Targeting CTLA-4 in Cancer: Biological Insights with a Focus on Renal Cell Carcinoma
Renal cell carcinoma (RCC) is a complex group of malignant tumors characterized by immunosuppression and high invasiveness. In the majority of patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma, treatment fails to achieve a complete cure post-treatment. Efforts

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

A bandgap‐engineered PtxTey:Ag2Te quantum dot platform enables tunable NIR‐IIb emission for deep‐tissue imaging and mild photothermal therapy. Conjugation with αPD‐L1 confers dual tumor targeting and real‐time monitoring of PD‐L1 dynamics. Mild photothermal modulation induces immune reprogramming, enhancing checkpoint blockade efficacy and achieving ...

Suppression of Human T-Cell Responses to β-Cells by Activation of B7-H4 Pathway
B7-H4, a recently described member of the B7 family of cosignal molecules, is thought to be involved in the regulation of cellular and humoral immune responses through receptors on activated T and B cells. Human islet cells express positive B7-H4 mRNA in

AI‐Designed Cyclic Peptides Enable Controllable Modulation of the CD28 Immune Checkpoint
AI‐designed cyclic peptides enable controllable modulation of the CD28 immune checkpoint through reversible disruption of CD28‐CD80/CD86 interactions. The lead peptide, CIP‐3, suppresses T‐cell activation without intrinsic agonist activity, demonstrates dose‐dependent efficacy in a murine colitis model, and attenuates inflammatory cytokine production ...
