$\Omega_{bbb}\Omega_{bbb}\Omega_{bbb}$ tribaryons

open access: yes
We study the possible existence of bound states of three $\Omega_{bbb}$ baryons. We consider only $S$ wave interactions and we start from recent lattice QCD results which give a strongly attractive potential between two $\Omega_{bbb}$ baryons in the $^1S_0$ channel. We analyze different scenarios.

A Brain‐Penetrant Nanobody Reveals GSK3β‐Driven Proline‐Directed Phosphorylation as a Master Regulator of Ischemic Neurodegeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A brain‐targeted nanoparticle enables delivery of a therapeutic nanobody (Nb.29E9) that inhibits pathogenic GSK3β signaling. This intervention restores AMPK/mTORC1/TGFβ homeostasis, attenuates neuroinflammation and oxidative stress, and promotes long‐term functional recovery after ischemic stroke.

Intrinsically Mitochondria‐Targeting Nanozyme via Coordination‐Assembly of Natural Quercetin for Cascade Antioxidant Therapy of Cerebral Ischemia‐Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study uncovers that quercetin naturally targets mitochondria. By coordinating quercetin with Fe3+, we engineer an ultrasmall cascade nanozyme (MCN) with superoxide dismutase‐catalase activities. MCN crosses the damaged blood–brain barrier, scavenges mitochondrial ROS, prevents mitochondrial DNA leakage, and blocks the cGAS‐STING pathway, thereby ...

Human BBB-on-a-Chip using iPSCs Derived HBMECs

open access: yes, 2019
Blood-Brain Barrier(BBB) is a diffusion barrier protecting our brain and central nervous system (CNS) by blocking the harmful substances crossing from blood to brain. Ironically, the BBB structure becomes a major obstacle for drug delivery to treat brain

Counting subgroups of the groups ${\Bbb Z}_{n_1} \times \cdots \times {\Bbb Z}_{n_k}$: a survey

open access: yes
We present a survey of exact and asymptotic formulas on the number of cyclic subgroups and total number of subgroups of the groups ${\Bbb Z}_{n_1} \times \cdots \times {\Bbb Z}_{n_k}$, where $k\ge 2$ and $n_1,\ldots,n_k$ are arbitrary positive integers ...

Model for the response of the two BBB to ECM.

open access: yes, 2012
A) The cerebral microvascular tree contains two functionally distinct BBB. The physiological BBB is formed by capillaries (diameter 4–8 µm) and consists of a single layer composed of endothelia, gliovascular membrane, and astrocyte endfeet.

ZNF33B Promotes Japanese Encephalitis Virus Infection by Regulating the Stability of M6A‐Modified Trim25 to Control the Autophagy Process

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Upon JEV infection, ZNF33B recruits METTL14 to stabilize the METTL3‐METTL14 m6A methyltransferase complex, leading to increased m6A modification of host transcripts, including Trim25 mRNA. ZNF33B selectively binds m6A‐modified sites on Trim25 mRNA and accelerates its decay, resulting in reduced TRIM25 protein abundance.
