Beyond Current Borders: Modeling the Climate‐Mediated Invasion of Fusarium incarnatum Into New Agricultural Frontiers

This study models the global distribution of Fusarium incarnatum under current and future climate scenarios using MaxEnt and Bioclim approaches. Model projections identify regions of high suitability across temperate and subtropical zones, with consensus between modeling methods indicating the most reliable predictions.

Synthesis of beauvericin by a multifunctional enzyme.

Beauvericin synthetase, a multifunctional enzyme catalyzing depsipeptide formation in Beauveria bassiana was purified to near homogeneity. The enzyme consists of a single polypeptide chain with a molecular mass of about 250 kdaltons. The mechanism of beauvericin formation is very similar to that of the cyclohexadepsipeptide enniatin.
