Population pharmacokinetic modelling of amoxicillin in human breast milk—A contribution from the ConcePTION project

Aims Amoxicillin, a widely used β‐lactam antibiotic, requires improved pharmacokinetic characterization during breastfeeding. This study used a population pharmacokinetic (PopPK) approach to model amoxicillin concentrations in breast milk, identify variability sources and estimate infant exposure, applying worst‐case scenarios.

NH‐Sulfilimine Synthesis Catalyzed by Nonheme Iron(II) Complex

Sulfilimines are emerging as valuable functional group in modern medicinal chemistry. Yet, their catalytic preparation is underexplored compared to sulfoximines. Here, the iron‐catalyzed synthesis of 14 examples of unprotected sulfilimines in good yields, under aerobic atmosphere and at room temperature, is described.

Herein, the oxidative degradation of amoxicillin (AMX) by water‐soluble colloidal MnO2 is investigated spectrophotometrically at 298 K in both uncatalyzed and nonionic micellar‐catalyzed media (Triton X‐100 and Brij‐35).
