In Vivo Renal Clearance, Biodistribution, Toxicity of Gold nanoclusters

open access: yes, 2012
Gold nanoparticles have shown great prospective in cancer diagnosis and therapy, but they can not be metabolized and prefer to accumulate in liver and spleen due to their large size.

CXCR4(+)-targeted protein nanoparticles produced in the food-grade bacterium Lactococcus lactis [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Lactococcus lactis is a Gram-positive (endotoxin-free) food-grade bacteria exploited as alternative to Escherichia coli for recombinant protein production. We have explored here for the first time the ability of this platform as producer of complex, self-

Biodistribution of mild analgesics. [PDF]

open access: yesBritish Journal of Clinical Pharmacology, 1980
1 Macro‐autoradiographic methods were used to assess the biodistribution of [3H]‐, or [14C]‐acidic (aspirin, indomethacin, phenylbutazone) and non‐acidic (antipyrine, aminopyrine, paracetamol) mild analgesics in rats with carrageenan‐induced inflammation.

Longitudinal in vivo biodistribution of nano and micro sized hydroxyapatite particles implanted in a bone defect

open access: yesFrontiers in Bioengineering and Biotechnology, 2022
Hydroxyapatite (HA) has been widely used as a bone substitute and more recently as a carrier for local delivery of bone targeted drugs. Majority of the approved HA based biomaterials and drug carriers comprise of micrometer sized particulate HA (mHA) or ...

Preclinical Analysis of JAA-F11, a Specific Anti-Thomsen-Friedenreich Antibody via Immunohistochemistry and In Vivo Imaging. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
The tumor specificity of JAA-F11, a novel monoclonal antibody specific for the Thomsen-Friedenreich cancer antigen (TF-Ag-alpha linked), has been comprehensively studied by in vitro immunohistochemical (IHC) staining of human tumor and normal tissue ...

Preclinical efficacy of hK2 targeted [177Lu]hu11B6 for prostate cancer theranostics [PDF]

open access: yes, 2019
Androgen ablating drugs increase life expectancy in men with metastatic prostate cancer, but resistance inevitably develops. In a majority of these recurrent tumors, the androgen axis is reactivated in the form of increased androgen receptor (AR ...

Smart, Bio‐Inspired Polymers and Bio‐Based Molecules Modified by Zwitterionic Motifs to Design Next‐Generation Materials for Medical Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Bio‐based and (semi‐)synthetic zwitterion‐modified novel materials and fully synthetic next‐generation alternatives show the importance of material design for different biomedical applications. The zwitterionic character affects the physiochemical behavior of the material and deepens the understanding of chemical interaction mechanisms within the ...

Shaping Ti3C2 MXene Nanospheres for Precision Near‐Infrared Photothermal Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, we report producing spherical MXenes via fs laser fragmentation of Ti3C2 flakes in liquid medium. The nanoparticles demonstrated pronounced light absorption and high photothermal conversion efficiencies of 68% and 63% under heating with NIR‐I and NIR‐II lasers, respectively.
