A versatile approach is presented for fabricating smart multifunctional textiles by integrating thermo‐fluorescent carbon dot/polymer nanocomposite coatings with 3D‐printed interlocked architectures. The fabrics exhibit temperature‐responsive fluorescence, durable hydrophobicity, strong antibacterial and antioxidant activity, and enhanced UV protection.

Biomolecular condensates in photosynthesis and metabolism
The transient assembly or sequestration of enzymes into clusters permits the channeling of metabolites, but requires spatiotemporal control. Liquid liquid phase separation (LLPS) has recently emerged as a fundamental concept enabling formation of such assemblies into non-membrane bound organelles.

Inhibition of IFN-γ-dependent antiviral airway epithelial defense by cigarette smoke [PDF]
Background Although individuals exposed to cigarette smoke are more susceptible to respiratory infection, the effects of cigarette smoke on lung defense are incompletely understood. Because airway epithelial cell responses to type II interferon (IFN) are

Recapitulating Endochondral Ossification for Bone Repair: From Development to Engineering Strategy
This review summarizes the developmental basis of endochondral ossification (ECO) and its applications in bone tissue engineering (BTE). It first outlines the key biological processes and signaling pathways underlying ECO, then discusses biomaterial‐based engineering strategies derived from these principles, and finally highlights future directions for

Crosstalk between Biomolecular Condensates and Proteostasis
Proper homeostasis of the proteome, referred to as proteostasis, is maintained by chaperone-dependent refolding of misfolded proteins and by protein degradation via the ubiquitin-proteasome system and the autophagic machinery. This review will discuss a crosstalk between biomolecular condensates and proteostasis, whereby the crowding of proteostasis ...
