Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Stress-related biomolecular condensates in plants [PDF]
This review describes the mechanism, regulation, composition, and properties of stress-related biomolecular condensates in plants.Biomolecular condensates are membraneless organelle-like structures that can concentrate molecules and often form through ...

Single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assays for high‐throughput DNA–protein interaction studies
We describe an optimised single‐molecule DNA flow‐stretch assay that visualises DNA–protein interactions in real time. Linear DNA fragments are tethered to a surface and stretched by buffer flow for fluorescence imaging. Using λ and φX174 DNA, this protocol enhances reproducibility and accessibility, providing a versatile approach for studying diverse ...

Landau Zener transitions in a dissipative environment: Numerically exact results
We study Landau-Zener transitions in a dissipative environment by means of the numerically exact quasiadiabatic propagator path-integral. It allows to cover the full range of the involved parameters.

Solitons for the cubic-quintic nonlinear Schrödinger equation with time and space modulated coefficients [PDF]
In this paper, we construct, by means of similarity transformations, explicit solutions to the cubic–quintic nonlinear Schrödinger equation with potentials and nonlinearities depending on both time and spatial coordinates. We present the general approach

Intercompartmental communication in senescence
Senescent cells experience structural changes in the plasma membrane, endoplasmic reticulum, mitochondria, lysosomes, nucleus, and cytoskeleton. These alterations disrupt crosstalk among cellular compartments, impairing vesicular trafficking, contact sites, and molecular flow.

This study presents a versatile approach to harnessing miscible aqueous domains, enabling liquid‐in‐liquid compartmentalization using a barrier formed in situ rather than bulk immiscibility. The barrier forms upon the complexation of multifunctional nanoparticles and ligands at the contact boundary of aqueous phases.

We demonstrate that stabilization of solitons of the multidimensional Schrodinger equation with a cubic nonlinearity may be achieved by a suitable periodic control of the nonlinear term.
