Stimuli‐Responsive Poly(Disulfide)s: A Versatile Platform for Intelligent Drug Delivery Systems

open access: yesMedComm – Biomaterials and Applications, Volume 5, Issue 2, June 2026.
Ring‐opening polymerization based on dynamic disulfide bond exchange is an important method for synthesizing poly(disulfide)s. These polymers possess stimulus‐responsive mechanisms and show broad prospects in intelligent drug delivery. This review systematically discusses the ring‐opening polymerization strategy and research progress of drug delivery ...

Small‐Molecule Activation of mRNA Translation by Click‐to‐Release Reaction in Cells

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 16, 13 April 2026.
A new method to control mRNA activity using bioorthogonal click‐to‐release reactions is presented. The 5′ cap is modified with a trans‐cyclooctene (TCO) that quickly reacts with hydroxyaryl‐tetrazines and efficiently releases the native cap 0. TCO‐capped mRNAs are initially translationally inactive but can be activated with non‐toxic, cell‐permeable ...

Bioorthogonal Chemistry in Biology and Medicine

open access: yesJournal of Molecular and Genetic Medicine, 2018
Bioorthogonal chemistry and reactions developed from innovations in chemistry, having their excellent biocompatibility can be applied in various biological reactions. As these reactions, does not interfere with other reactions in the biological system, they can be used as excellent tools for tracking and studying dynamics of various biological ...

Dual Cluster‐Surface Click Chemistries on Silver Nanoclusters

open access: yesSmall Science, Volume 6, Issue 5, May 2026.
In this report, two new structures of clickable anion templated silver nanoclusters (NCs) equipped with azide functional groups capable of cluster surface click reactions are described. It is demonstrated for the first time the Staudinger–Bertozzi ligation and dual click reactions Staudinger–Bertozzi ligation‐strain‐promoted azide–alkyne cycloadditions

Aufklärung des Wirkmechanismus der Synthetase: Das Dimer der Pyrrolysyl‐tRNA‐Synthetase nutzt sekundäre Bindungsstellen in der Zelle

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 18, 27 April 2026.

Dual Ligand‐Enabled Nondirected C─H Olefination of (Hetero)Arenes for the Synthesis of Clickable Derivatives

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 32, Issue 15, 22 April 2026.
We report an efficient method for late‐stage installation of “clickable” alkyne groups into diverse (hetero)arenes. Using a dual‐ligand palladium catalyst that combines an NASA ligand with an N‐heterocycle, an acrylate unit bearing a terminal alkyne can be introduced via nondirected C─H activation.
