Influence of Organoboron Compounds on Ethylene Polymerization Using Cp2ZrCl2/MAO as Catalyst System
Organoboron compounds of nonionic and ionic nature, tris(pentafluorophenyl)borane, and N,N-dimethylanilinium tetra(pentafluorophenyl)borate were evaluated to act in conjunction with MAO as activators on ethylene polymerization by using the catalyst ...

The formation of triplet Ni(II) complexes by activation of bromoalkenes with alkyl‐ or boryl Ni(I) is key to control the outcome of the reductive cross‐coupling of bromoalkanes precluding the formation of alkylboronates. We present a mechanistic study on the Ni‐catalyzed cross‐coupling reaction of bromoalkanes with diboron compounds as reductants.

Discovery of bicyclic borane molecule B14H26
The discovery of fullerene following the synthesis of graphene marked a paradigm shift in chemistry. Here, we report the discovery of biycycloborane, arising from the synthesis of borophane (hydrogen boride).

Memory of Chirality in Radical Addition–Translocation–Cyclization Cascades
Radical addition–translocation–cyclization cascades of chiral alkynes show striking memory of chirality (MoC), with strong retention of configuration when fast, polarity favored cyclization are involved. The most effective system employs a highly electron‐poor pentafluorobenzenesulfonyl group.

Polymers carrying catechol groups are interesting mussel‐inspired materials for wet adhesion applications or metal ion complexation for wastewater treatment. Here, catechol‐containing poly(2‐isopropyl‐2‐oxazoline)s were synthesized via microwave‐assisted cationic (co)polymerization and examined with regard to their thermoresponsive LCST behavior in ...

Synthesis of Amorphous‐Crystalline Mixture Boron Nitride for Balanced Resistive Switching Operation
An amorphous–crystalline mixture BN (acm‐BN) is synthesized through low‐pressure chemical vapor deposition, achieving balanced resistive switching with low SET voltage and stable RESET. High‐resolution transmission electron microscopy reveals that BN films are fully amorphous at 930 °C, a mixed amorphous–crystalline phase is achieved at 990 °C.

Borophane in dual roles: as a reductant in the conversion of levulinic acid to γ‐valerolactone and as a reversible hydrogen reservoir through partial rehydrogenation. ABSTRACT 2D borophene has long been proposed as a promising hydrogen storage material, but experimental demonstrations remain limited to boron hydride sheets derived from MgB2.

Wafer‐Scale Self‐Limiting Epitaxy of Bernal‐Stacked Single‐Crystal Boron Nitride
Wafer‐scale, single‐crystal Bernal‐stacked boron nitride (bBN) bilayers are grown by flow‐modulated MOCVD, where monoatomic Ni step edges on Ni(111) deterministically direct AB stacking. As an ultrathin interlayer, bBN suppresses interfacial scattering and enables robust, nonvolatile polarization switching in MoS2 channels, offering a scalable platform
