Mechanical Mouse Lure for Brown Treesnakes
Abstract The importance of prey movement for stimulating feeding behavior of Brown Treesnakes was tested by using a mechanical mouse model in combination with and without prey odor. Prey movement was found to be important in stimulating brown treesnake feeding behavior.

Solar-type dynamo behaviour in fully convective stars without a tachocline [PDF]
In solar-type stars (with radiative cores and convective envelopes), the magnetic field powers star spots, flares and other solar phenomena, as well as chromospheric and coronal emission at ultraviolet to X-ray wavelengths.

Research Progress on Mechanism of Browning in Fresh-cut Lotus Root and Its Inhibition Treatments
The demand for fresh-cut fruit and vegetables is steadily rising due to enhanced living conditions and the accelerating pace of modern life. Fresh-cut lotus root, an important fresh-cut product, is favored by consumers for its convenience, nutritional ...

A New Role for Browning as a Redox and Stress Adaptive Mechanism? [PDF]
The worldwide epidemic of obesity and metabolic disorders is focusing the attention of the scientific community on white adipose tissue (WAT) and its biology. This tissue is characterized not only by its capability to change in size and shape but also by its heterogeneity and versatility.
