Anaerobic Production of Extracellular Polysaccharide by Butyrivibrio fibrisolvens nyx [PDF]
Anaerobic production of extracellular polysaccharide (EP) was examined, using a previously uncharacterized, obligately anaerobic rumen isolate, Butyrivibrio fibrisolvens nyx, which produced an EP that was rheologically similar to xanthan gum.

This figure illustrates how tea consumption and exercise metabolites may synergistically support neurovascular protection related to hemorrhagic risk. (A) Pathological mechanisms such as vascular injury, small‐vessel fragility, and impaired cerebral perfusion increase cerebrovascular vulnerability.

Salivary Microvesicle Methylome and Microbiome Profiles in Periodontitis: An Exploratory Study
ABSTRACT Aim Salivary microvesicles (MVs) are nanosized extracellular vesicles from the host and microbiota whose cargo may mirror the biological state of their parent cells. This cross‐sectional study aimed to explore the diagnostic power of host methylome and microbiome profiles of MVs in various periodontal disease states. Materials and Methods This

Xylose and arabinose utilization by the rumen bacteriumButyrivibrio fibrisolvens [PDF]
The rumen bacterium Butyrivibrio fibrisolvens strain D1 co-utilized xylose and glucose in batch culture, but there was a marked preference for glucose over arabinose. When both pentoses were provided, xylose was preferred over arabinose. Strain D1 co-utilized a combination of either pentose and cellobiose, but preferred over maltose.

The Dairy Ruminant Gut Microbiome: Profile, Responsiveness to Seasonality and Impact on Milk Quality
The dairy ruminant gut microbiome that is shaped by host and diet is affected by seasonality and rearing. These factors can impact dairy productivity and milk quality potentially through the gut microbiota. ABSTRACT The gut microbiome (GM) and particularly the rumen microbiome (RM) affect the ruminant health and they are associated with milk quality ...

Background Health-promoting polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) are abundant in forages grazed by ruminants and in vegetable and fish oils used as dietary supplements, but only a small proportion of PUFA finds its way into meat and milk, because of ...

Step 1: Component identification and target screening: The chemical composition of IPCO was characterized using GC–MS, identifying two major fatty acids and six fat‐soluble active substances. A total of 149 potential drug targets were predicted via Pharm Mapper and SwissTargetPrediction. Concurrently, 2029 genes associated with Alzheimer's Disease (AD)
