Purificación del componente C1s del sistema complemento y obtención de un antisuero específico Purification of the C1s component of the complement system and obtention of a specific antiserum

Electropolymerized Aptasensor for Femtogram‐Level Cytokine Detection

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Electropolymerization of 3‐amino‐ʟ‐tyrosine creates ultrathin, smooth, and chemically robust pALT nanofilms with accessible carboxyl functionalities for direct aptamer immobilization. Integrated with fiber‐optic SPR and OECT platforms, these interfaces enable IL‐6 detection down to 100 fg mL−1 and provide a versatile route to bioelectronic sensing ...

From Surface to Bulk Activation: Tailoring the Porosity and Surface Chemistry of Resorcinol‐Formaldehyde Carbon Sorbents for Atmospheric Water Harvesting

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
A bulk activation route to produce nanoporous carbons for atmospheric water harvesting by incorporating potassium hydroxide during resorcinol‐formaldehyde polycondensation. These high‐oxygen sorbents deliver daily water yields up to 23 L kg−1 day−1 with great cyclability, providing a scalable solution for water production in diverse climates.

Evidence for an $$\eta _c(1S) \pi ^-$$ ηc(1S)π- resonance in $$B^0 \rightarrow \eta _c(1S) K^+\pi ^-$$ B0→ηc(1S)K+π- decays

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2018
A Dalitz plot analysis of $${{B} ^0} \!\rightarrow \eta _c(1S) {{K} ^+} {{\pi } ^-} $$ B0→ηc(1S)K+π- decays is performed using data samples of pp collisions collected with the $$\text{ LHCb } $$ LHCb detector at centre-of-mass energies of $${\sqrt{s}} =7,

Controlled Synthesis of Tri‐ and Multi‐Doped Graphene

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
This review systematically evaluates synthesis routes for tri‐ and multi‐doped graphene, from hydrothermal and pyrolysis methods to flash Joule heating, critically assessing how each governs dopant incorporation, bonding configuration, and resulting electronic properties.

The C1 claw device: a new instrument for C1-C2 fusion [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Spine Journal, 2001
A new fixation device for C1-C2 fusion is presented. It consists of a claw construct for the C1 arch that is rigidly attached to C1-C2 transarticular screws to form an instrument that combines anterior and posterior fixation in the same construct. The new device was successfully applied in a case with failed C1-C2 fusion that was initially stabilized ...

Rapid Room‐Temperature Ethanol Sensing in Bi2MoO6/rGO Heterostructures: Weak Adsorption‐Driven Charge Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
This work establishes Bi2MoO6/rGO heterostructures as a mechanism‐guided platform for high‐performance room‐temperature ethanol gas detection by showing that modest adsorption, in conjunction with dynamic interfacial band modulation, enables rapid charge‐transfer.

Photoreduction of cytochrome c1

open access: yesJournal of Biological Chemistry, 1975
1. Ferricytochrome c1 solution was reduced completely between pH 7 and 10 by illumination under anaerobic conditions. Photoreduction was not affected by the ionic strength of the medium. However, it did not take place at pH lower than 6 or higher than 10, or in the presence of p-hydroxymercuric benzoate.

O Radical‐Induced n‐to‐p Transition in PbS Quantum Dots Enabling Enhanced and Stable Photogating in QD/IGZO SWIR Phototransistors

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
An O radical‐induced n‐to‐p transition in PbS quantum dots (QDs) is achieved via atmospheric Ar/O2 treatment, enabling favorable band alignment and stable photogating in PbS QD/IGZO phototransistors. Interfacial defect passivation and Fermi‐level modulation, confirmed by XPS and UPS analyses, effectively suppress dark current, induce a positive VTH ...

Complement C1s deficiency in a male Caucasian patient with systemic lupus erythematosus: a case report

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology
Deficiencies of the early complement components of the classical pathway (CP) are well-documented in association with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) or SLE-like syndromes and severe pyogenic infections.
