Leveraging the chemical similarity between Ga3+ and Fe3+ as well as the antioxidant properties of quercetin, gallium–quercetin nanoparticles (GQNPs) were prepared to integrate iron homeostasis regulation, oxidative stress suppression, and mitochondrial protection for multi‐target ferroptosis inhibition in Parkinson's Disease.

Salt stress significantly impacts plant growth. Through population transcriptome, eQTL and TWAS analyses, we identified several candidate genes potentially associated with salt stress response. Functional assays suggested that some of these genes may contribute to salt tolerance.

Androgenetic alopecia (AGA) is a common form of hair loss with limited treatment options. Silencing of WNT5A signaling, which is widely known as the trigger of the ncWNT signaling pathway, happens in hair follicle stem cells from balding areas. It leads to downregulation of ATF3 and its target FOSB.

Neuromorphic Devices and Computing for Sensing, Memory, and Control
This review introduces neuromorphic devices made from diverse materials. These devices mimic neuronal functions and architectures and, when integrated with artificial or biological computing, can form closed loops with neurons for pressure, optical, acoustic, and biochemical sensing and modulation.

Control of Ca2+ homeostasis in neuronal cells.
The intracellular free Ca2+ concentrations show complex fluctuations in time and space in response to a variety of stimuli, and act as a pluripotent signal for many neuronal functions. Activation of cells is associated with Ca2+ influx from the extracellular space through voltage-dependent and/or receptor-operated Ca2+ channels localized on the plasma ...

Given that PEEK chest wall implants induce shear force at the soft tissue‐implant interface due to respiratory motion in the early in vivo post‐implantation stage. We confirmed that this mechanical stimulus triggers the PIEZO1/ITGB1/YAP1 signalling axis in L929 and the STAT6/p‐STAT6 pathway in RAW264.7, which in turn mediates adhesion and migration of ...

A nanomodulator called L‐Arginine/lificiguat@Copper‐hollow Prussian blue@Calcium phosphate nanoparticles is constructed to launch a self‐amplifying “avalanche effect” in tumor cells. The ensuing cascade, triggered by the acidic tumor microenvironment and near‐infrared light, induces calcium overload, generates a reactive oxygen species and reactive ...

ATP and Ca2+ homeostasis in Trypanosoma cruzi.
Cell viability requires the perfect functioning of the processes controlling ATP and Ca2+ homeostasis. It is known that cell death caused by a variety of toxins or pathological conditions is associated with disruption of ATP and Ca2+ homeostasis. Therefore, the study of the mechanisms by which different T.

Impaired MEC astrocytic Ca2+ signaling is associated with fragmented spatial exploration in AD mice. Region‐specific glial progenitor transplantation generates engrafted astrocytes that are accompanied by improved AQP4 polarization, reduced amyloid‐β‐associated pathology, attenuated neuroinflammation, preserved synaptic integrity, and ameliorated ...
