MVP Inhibits Influenza A Virus‐Induced Ferroptosis by Targeting IRF1 and Increasing FSP1 Activity
During IAV infection, MVP inhibits IRF1 polyubiquitination, thereby relieving IRF1‐mediated transcriptional inhibition of FSP1. Consequently, this leads to an upregulation of FSP1 expression, thereby reinforcing the inhibition of ferroptosis. In addition, the MVP can promote myristoylation and ubiquitination of FSP1, enabling its membrane localization ...

Inhibition of influenza virus infection by garlic oil and juice in cell culture
Abstract Background Influenza virus infections are a significant global health and economic burden. Garlic (Allium sativum) has been proposed to have antimicrobial properties. Raw garlic consumption has been widely advocated on the internet to fight influenza by many public health agencies, information of which is easily accessible by the public. There

A Serological Survey of Canine Respiratory Coronavirus and Canine Influenza Virus in Korean Dogs
The relationship between canine respiratory coronavirus (CRCoV) and canine influenza virus (CIV) seropositivity in dogs in Korea was examined. Sixty-two of the 483 samples (12.8%) were seropositive for CRCoV by indirect fluorescent antibody (IFA) analysis. Nineteen animals were seropositive for CIV by ELISA out of the 385 samples tested.
