Risk Factors for Carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae Infection and Mortality of Klebsiella pneumoniae Infection

open access: yesChinese Medical Journal, 2018
Klebsiella pneumoniae (KP) is a pathogen commonly causing nosocomial infection. Carbapenem-resistant KP (CRKP) is more resistant to multiple antimicrobial drugs than carbapenem-susceptible KP (CSKP) isolates. The aim of the present study was to identify the risk factors for CRKP infection and the predictors of mortality among KP-infected adult patients.

Vaccine against carbapenem-resistant klebsiella pneumoniae

open access: yes, 2016
The present invention relates to synthetic saccharides of general fornnula (I): V*−[Ux+2−Ux+ 1−Ux]n−V−O−L−NH2 that are related to carbapenem-resistant Kliebsella pneumoniae capsular polysaccharide and conjugates thereof. Said conjugates and pharmaceutical composition containing said conjugates are useful for prevention and/or treatment of diseases ...
