Proteomic and phosphoproteomic analyses were performed on lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) tumors with EGFR, KRAS, or EML4–ALK alterations and wild‐type cases. Distinct protein expression and phosphorylation patterns were identified, especially in EGFR‐mutated tumors. Key altered pathways included vesicle transport and RNA splicing.

The K+‐Cl− cotransporters (KCCs) facilitate the symport of ions across the plasma membrane. They participate in physiological processes including neuronal regulation. Here, we characterized KCCs from Drosophila and Hydra vulgaris. Comparative analyses of transporters provide insights into the mechanism of KCC ion transport, regulation, and evolution ...

Formation of Reconstituted Casein Micelles with Human β-Caseins and Bovine κ-Casein
Human beta-casein (CN) is the major protein of the human milk casein fraction (approximately 80%) and exists in six calcium-sensitive forms, having zero to five organic phosphates per molecule. The major forms are the doubly-phosphorylated (beta-CN-2P; approximately 30%) and the quadruply phosphorylated (beta-CN-4P; approximately 35%) forms.

Biopolymers are sustainable, biodegradable alternatives to petroleum‐based plastics for food packaging. Its adoption is often limited by poor mechanical strength, barrier properties, and improved thermal stability through the incorporation of nanofillers.

Milk Intolerance, Beta-Casein and Lactose
True lactose intolerance (symptoms stemming from lactose malabsorption) is less common than is widely perceived, and should be viewed as just one potential cause of cows’ milk intolerance.

Supervariate Gel Transforms into Various Biominerals in Salt Solutions
It is revealed that common calcium‐based biominerals can form from a stable, non‐toxic ‘supervariate’ gel. This tunable gel selectively yields calcite or hydroxyapatite in carbonate/phosphate solutions, while CaCl₂ facilitates the formation of dihydrate calcium pyrophosphate, which converts to hydroxyapatite upon drying. These findings provide insights

Studies of Casein IV. The Isolation of -Casein [PDF]
The preparation of second-cycle casein-fraction S-from skim milk has been described in Part I of this series (McKenzie and Wake 1959a) and by Waugh and von Hippel (1956). This fraction contains mainly x-casein, as, well as f1- and y-casein, and a number of minor components.

Advanced Oral Delivery Systems for Nutraceuticals
Emerging delivery technologies are explored to overcome barriers to oral nutraceutical absorption. Traditional carriers are compared with novel platforms including biodegradable polymers, MOFs, MPNs, and 3D printing. These systems enhance bioavailability, control release, and enable personalized nutrition.
