DataSheet_4_Cuproptosis in ccRCC: key player in therapeutic and prognostic targets.zip

open access: yes, 2023
BackgroundClassical biomarkers have been used to classify clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) patients in a variety of ways, and emerging evidences have indicated that cuproptosis is closely related to mitochondrial metabolism, thereby accelerating ...

Knockdown of SETD2 promotes erastin-induced ferroptosis in ccRCC

open access: yesCell Death & Disease, 2023
AbstractClear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is the most common subtype of kidney cancer and is associated with poor prognosis. The histone H3 lysine 36 methyltransferase SET-domain-containing 2 (SETD2) has been reported to be expressed at low levels and frequently mutated in ccRCC.

DHODH Drives Sunitinib Resistance Via a Non‐Enzymatic Mechanism by Inhibiting TRIM28 Ubiquitination and Consequent VEGFA Activation in RCC

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This non‑enzymatic function of DHODH drives sunitinib resistance by competing with TRIM37 to block TRIM28 ubiquitination, thereby stabilizing TRIM28 and activating VEGFA transcription. Disrupting the DHODH–TRIM28 interaction with lisaftoclax restores drug sensitivity.

High Hepcidin expression predicts poor prognosis in patients with clear cell renal cell carcinoma

open access: yesDiagnostic Pathology, 2022
Clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is a growing public health challenge worldwide. Hepcidin antimicrobial peptide (HAMP) is differentially expressed in various tumors. However, the roles and functions of HAMP in ccRCC remain unclear.

Targeting the ATX‐LPA Axis Overcomes TKI Resistance and Immunosuppression in Renal Cell Carcinoma via Dual Inhibition of AKT/mTOR and TBK1/IRF3 Pathways

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Therapeutic resistance limits durable survival in advanced/metastatic renal cell carcinoma (RCC) treated with first‐line tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) plus immune checkpoint inhibitor (ICI). We sought to define key resistance drivers and actionable targets.

FUBP1 is upregulated in ccRCC tissue and cell lines.

open access: yes, 2017
(A) FUBP1 mRNA levels in ccRCC and matched normal renal tissues were analyzed by qRT-PCR. The expression levels of FUBP1 mRNA were normalized to that of PPIA, the internal control. (B) Correlation between FUBP1 mRNA levels and TNM stage of ccRCC.

ATAD2 promotes glycolysis and tumor progression in clear cell renal cell carcinoma by regulating the transcriptional activity of c-Myc

open access: yesDiscover Oncology, 2023
Clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) is a common malignant tumor of the urogenital tract. Given that ccRCC is often resistant to radiotherapy and traditional chemotherapy, the clinical treatment of patients with ccRCC remains a challenge.
