Recent studies have revealed an inverse association between height and cardiovascular disease and that endothelial progenitor cells(CD34-positive cells) contribute to vascular maintenance, which is associated with cardiovascular disease. However, evidence

Endogenous Engineering Reprograms Extracellular Vesicles for Enhanced Therapeutic Function
This review explains how Extracellular vesicles‐producing cells can be endogenously engineered to load therapeutic proteins and nucleic acids. We summarize physiological and genetic strategies that harness native sorting pathways for selective cargo loading.

Myeloid Sarcoma: A Series of Five Cases from a Tertiary Care Centre in Tamil Nadu, India [PDF]
Myeloid Sarcoma (MS) constitutes a rare extramedullary manifestation characterised by the clonal proliferation of myeloid precursor cells. It may present in association with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia (AML), Myelodysplastic Syndromes (MDS), or ...

Functional activity of murine CD34+and CD34− hematopoietic stem cell populations
The transmembrane glycoprotein CD34 is expressed on human hematopoietic stem cells and committed progenitors in the bone marrow, and CD34-positive selection currently is used to isolate bone marrow repopulating cells in clinical transplantation protocols.

Lipid metabolic stress triggers ferroptosis in PDLSCs through the GSK3β/NRF2 pathway, thereby aggravating periodontal bone loss. Upregulated GSK3β promotes NRF2 ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation via β‐TrCP, suppressing NRF2 nuclear translocation and antioxidant target expression.

Boosting Sensory Nerve‐to‐Bone Interactions Enhances Hedgehog Mediated Calvarial Bone Repair
Boosting sensory nerve activity via TrkA agonism strongly accelerates calvarial bone repair in adult mice. Furthermore, single‐cell RNA sequencing and neuron–bone interactome analyses identify these sensory neurons as a direct neural source of Hedgehog pathway ligands. Consequently, these ligands drive osteoblast differentiation of skeletal progenitors,

Distribution of Stromal Cell Subsets in Cultures from Distinct Ocular Surface Compartments
Purpose: To reveal the phenotypic differences between human ocular surface stromal cells (hOSSCs) cultured from the corneal, limbal, and scleral compartments. Methods: A comparative analysis of cultured hOSSCs derived from four unrelated donors was

Absence of a CD34− hematopoietic precursor population in recipients of CD34+ stem cell transplantation [PDF]
The purified CD34(+) cell fraction has been used for hematopoietic stem cell transplantation since they were demonstrated to have long-term reconstituting ability. Therefore, the potential effects of CD34(-) stem cells on the clinical course have been a major concern in recipients of CD34(+)-selected transplantation. To address this concern, we used an

Characterization of CD34-deficient myofibroblastomas of the breast.
Mammary myofibroblastoma is a benign spindle cell tumor that can show variable morphologic patterns and lines of differentiation. Diffuse and strong immunohistochemical expression of CD34 is a characteristic of myofibroblastoma and greatly aids in ...
