Single vesicle analysis of CD47 association with integrins and tetraspanins on extracellular vesicles released by T lymphoblast and prostate carcinoma cells

open access: yesJournal of Extracellular Vesicles, 2022
CD47 regulates the trafficking of specific coding and noncoding RNAs into extracellular vesicles (EVs), and the RNA contents of CD47+ EVs differ from that of CD63+ EVs released by the same cells.

Unraveling Bone‐Skin Crosstalk Enables miRNA Nanoformulation for Cutaneous Neurovascular Reconstruction in Diabetic Mice

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study unravels that bone fracture accelerates diabetic wound healing by releasing exosomal microRNA (miR‐130b‐3p). To mimic this bone‐skin crosstalk, we engineered a self‐assembling agomir‐130b‐3p nanocomplex. Delivered via a photocrosslinkable hydrogel, this bio‐inspired therapy provides sustained localized agomir release.

CD63 as an Activation-Linked T Cell Costimulatory Element [PDF]

open access: yesThe Journal of Immunology, 2004
Abstract Dendritic cells (DC) are unique in their capacity to either stimulate or regulate T cells, and receptor/ligand pairs on DC and T cells are critically involved in this process. In this study we present such a molecule, which was discovered by us when analyzing the functional effects of an anti-DC mAb.

Neuron‐Targeted Exosomal Delivery of siRNA Against RIPK3 Slows Neurodegenerative Progression in Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Engineered exosomal siRNA delivery platform enables systemic, neuron‐targeted RNA transport across the blood–brain barrier. Surface functionalization with rabies virus glycoprotein‐derived peptide facilitates receptor‐mediated transcytosis, achieving efficient cytosolic delivery and robust gene silencing. Targeting RIPK3 suppresses necroptosis, reduces

The Sox2 promoter-driven CD63-GFP transgenic rat model allows tracking of neural stem cell-derived extracellular vesicles

open access: yesDisease Models & Mechanisms, 2018
Extracellular vesicles (EVs) can modulate microenvironments by transferring biomolecules, including RNAs and proteins derived from releasing cells, to target cells.

Human Dental Pulp Stem Cell Secretome Restores Ischemic Stroke–Impaired Motor and Cognitive Functions by Reprogramming Redox and Inflammatory Signaling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Human dental pulp stem cell secretome emerges as a cell‐free therapeutic strategy for ischemic stroke by reprogramming redox and inflammatory signaling. hDPSC secretome‐derived antioxidant and immunomodulatory factors suppress the TLR4–NOX–ROS–NF‐κB axis, reduce microglial inflammatory responses and apoptosis, and promote neurogenesis, angiogenesis ...

A Panel of Circulating Exosomal sncRNAs Associated With Lung Cancer Risk up to 10 Years in Advance

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lung cancer is often diagnosed too late, and current screening overlooks many people at risk. In a long‐term study of smokers, a panel of small non‐coding RNAs carried in blood exosomes signals elevated lung cancer risk up to ten years before diagnosis, pointing toward a blood‐based tool for earlier risk detection.

DIFFERENTIATED EFFECTS OF GLUCOSAMINYLMURAMILDIPEPTIDE ON THE NONTRANSFORMED AND EXPERIMENTALLY TRANSFORMED PHENOTYPE OF CD62L+CD63+CD66d+ NEUTROPHILIC GRANULOCYTES IN CONVENTIONALLY HEALTHY PEOPLE

open access: yesМедицинская иммунология, 2018
Modern studies have shown a high plasticity and phenotypic diversity of neutrophilic granulocytes (NG) provided by different receptors, which are diagnostic markers for the functional capacity of the cell in the course of their activities.

Genetic Ablation and Multi‐Omics Profiling Reveal CEP55 as a Key Driver of Tumorigenesis in Diverse Cancer Models

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Genetic ablation of Cep55 in Pten‐deficient mouse models delays tumorigenesis. Integrated multi‐omics analyses (proteomics, phosphoproteomics, and spatial transcriptomics) reveal that CEP55 regulates oncogenic signaling (RAS/ERK, PI3K/AKT), integrin/FAK‐mediated adhesion, extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling, and endocytosis.

Tumor‐Derived Exosomal circAP2B1 Induces M2 Macrophage Polarization by Enhancing Mitochondrial Homeostasis to Promote Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma Progression

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ESCC‐derived exosomal circAP2B1 promotes tumor progression by reprogramming mitochondrial metabolism via the ESRRA/KPNA1/MFN2 axis to induce M2 polarization of macrophages. ABSTRACT Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) remodels the immunosuppressive tumor microenvironment via exosome‐mediated intercellular communication.
