Effects of Rumen-Protected Methionine, Choline, and Betaine Supplementation on Ewes’ Pregnancy and Reproductive Outcomes

open access: yesVeterinary Sciences
This study evaluated the effects of maternal supplementation with rumen-protected methionine (RPM), alone or combined with rumen-protected choline (RPC) and betaine (RPB), during the periconceptional and prepartum periods on reproductive outcomes and ...

Redefining Separator Design and Water Activity for High‐Energy Zinc Batteries Using Covalent Organic Framework

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Device‐level zinc batteries are energy‐limited by the mass/volume of inactive components, while lean‐electrolyte operation triggers interfacial water depletion and unstable kinetics. Here we elucidate lean‐failure mechanisms and develop a COF@PAN functional separator that regulates hydrogen‐bonding networks to manage water activity and accelerate ...

Head-to-Head Comparison between FDG and 11C-Methionine in Multiple Myeloma: A Systematic Review

open access: yesDiagnostics, 2023
The aim of this systematic review is to provide a comprehensive overview of the existing literature, comparing 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) and 11C-methionine (MET) for the imaging of multiple myeloma (MM) with positron emission computed tomography (PET ...

Adhesive Double‐Network Granular Organogel E‐Skin

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
We introduce a double‐network granular organogel adhesive for electronic skin, overcoming adhesion and strength trade‐offs. It provides reversible, robust bonding and ionic conductivity, enabling wearable and soft robotic e‐skin. Thanks to the e‐skin adhesive, a soft robotic trunk can recognize touch, temperature, humidity, and acidity.

Nano-Windmill Inhibits Macrophage Activation Via Choline Uptake Reduction

open access: yesInternational Dental Journal
Aim or purpose: This study aims to investigate the anti-inflammatory effects of a novel tetrahedral framework nucleic acid (tFNA)-based siRNA delivery system, named “nano-windmill,” which targets slc44a1 to inhibit macrophage activation by reducing ...

Ensemble Learning for Breast Cancer Lesion Classification: A Pilot Validation Using Correlated Spectroscopic Imaging and Diffusion-Weighted Imaging

open access: yesMetabolites, 2023
The main objective of this work was to evaluate the application of individual and ensemble machine learning models to classify malignant and benign breast masses using features from two-dimensional (2D) correlated spectroscopy spectra extracted from five-

Direct Gravity‐Induced Modulation of Cardiac Conduction Pathways Evidenced Through Propagation Features in Electrophysiological Mapping

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Technologies, EarlyView.
A high‐density wearable body‐surface potential mapping array reveals how gravity reshapes cardiac conduction in real time. By resolving spatiotemporal delay patterns invisible to conventional ECG, the platform uncovers posture‐dependent electrophysiological adaptations across the thorax.

Effects of Rumen-Protected Choline on Growth Performance, Carcass Characteristics and Blood Lipid Metabolites of Feedlot Lambs

open access: yesAnimals, 2020
Choline is an essential nutrient for animals, but dietary choline is degraded in the rumen, and thus, should be offered as rumen-protected choline (RPC) in ruminants.

Liver Stiffness Directs Intrahepatic Cholesterol Accumulation Through YAP/TAZ in Metabolic Dysfunction‐Associated Steatotic Liver Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Liver stiffness promotes intrahepatic cholesterol accumulation by repressing LXRα through YAP/TAZ activation. Stiff matrices impair cholesterol efflux in hepatocytes, while YAP/TAZ deletion restores LXRα activity and prevents cholesterol‐induced fibrosis.
