The ability of H2O2 to induce differentiation of human mesenchymal stem cells into chondrocytes [PDF]
Background and Aim:Cartilagedisordersmaydeterioratefollowingoxidative stress injuriesaffectingmature chondrocytes. Meantime, mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs)candifferentiateinto chondrocytes in thepresence ofoxidative conditionsandact as ...

Using supramolecular monomers, various hydrogel culture systems were formulated to culture protoplasts; including 2D, 2.5D, and 3D hydrogels. Depending on the culture platform, bioactive functionalization led to protoplast enlargement (2D and 2.5D) or plasmolysis (3D). This work shows the potential to modularly engineer synthetic platforms for cellular

A biofabricated 3D in vitro model recapitulating endochondral ossification (ECO) is described, mimicking the steps from condensation to chondrogenesis and hypertrophy, culminating with vascularization of the hypertrophic construct. As a model proof of concept application, Ewing Sarcoma cells are seeded in the model, showing modifications in their ...
