ABSTRACT Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a heterogeneous malignancy characterized by high mortality rates. This article presents a discussion of the role of ZNF652 in HCC cell proliferation and apoptosis, thereby identifying a new target for HCC treatment. The expression levels of ZNF652, circRHOT1, and SLC38A6 in HCC and healthy cells were analyzed.

RNA Modifications: Current Understandings and Future Perspectives
Types of RNA modification. We have summarized the currently common types of RNA modifications, including ac4C, m6A, m1A, m5C, m3C, m7G, and ψ, and visually characterized their features through structural formulas. The characteristic structures are marked with a background color different from the background color.

This review highlights mitochondrial dysfunction as a central driver of pancreatic β cell failure in diabetes, caused by disrupted mitochondrial quality control (MQC), oxidative stress, and impaired organelle communication. Emerging therapies, such as DRAK2 inhibitors and metabolic reprogramming agents, show promise in restoring β cell function by ...

Our findings identify circ‐0030167/IGF2BP1/HMOX1 axis as a critical regulatory factor targeting mitochondria‐mediated ferroptosis, thereby presenting a novel therapeutic target for PC combination therapies. ABSTRACT Pancreatic cancer (PC) represents a highly aggressive malignancy characterized by a 5 year survival rate of less than 12%.

We performed the first transcriptome‐wide profiling of m5C modifications in osteosarcoma, analyzing four pairs of tumor and adjacent normal tissues. We revealed that NSUN2 suppresses apoptosis in osteosarcoma cells by promoting GPRC5B m5C modification and expression.

ABSTRACT Gastrointestinal (GI) tumours are one of the most prevalent cancers globally. Even with normal GI function, individuals may develop neoplasms, highlighting the need to better understand the underlying causes of tumorigenesis. The emergence of tumour drug resistance represents the main reason for the failure of drug treatment; thus, it is ...

Pathophysiology and Molecular Signalling in Osteoporosis: Linking Risk Factors to Bone Loss
ABSTRACT Osteoporosis is a prevalent skeletal disorder characterised by progressive reduction in bone mass, microarchitectural deterioration, and increased fracture susceptibility. In India, approximately one‐third of the elderly population is affected by bone‐related disorders, and the global burden of osteoporosis continues to rise.
