Cartilage‐Penetrating Framework Nucleic Acid Nanoparticles Ameliorate Osteoarthritis by Promoting Drug Delivery and Chondrocyte Uptake

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Based on the poor cartilage penetration of tFNA, a novel tFNA‐2WL with excellent cartilage permeability and perfect chondrocyte endocytosis properties is designed and fabricated. As a result, tFNA‐2WL has a nearly seven‐fold increase in the penetration depth into the cartilage, with the same excellent cell entry properties as tFNA.

Manganese‐Catalyzed Electrochemical Diazidation of Dehydroalanine Peptides

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A Mn(II)‐catalyzed electrochemical method achieves site‐selective diazidation of dehydroalanine peptides with NaN₃. This radical relay process tolerates diverse functional groups, delivers high yields, and enables precise peptide modification, offering a powerful tool for bioconjugation and therapeutic development.

Loss of STARD7 Triggers Metabolic Reprogramming and Cell Cycle Arrest in Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Breast cancer cells undergo metabolic and transcriptomic reprogramming to support aberrant cell proliferation. Their mitochondria rely on the transfer of phosphatidylcholine from the endoplasmic reticulum to their membranes by STARD7, a candidate upregulated in breast cancer, to be functional.
