C-19 and Hot, Wide Star Streams
The C-19 star stream has the abundance characteristics of an unusually metal-poor globular cluster but kinematically is uncharacteristically hot and wide for a cluster stream, having a line-of-sight velocity dispersion of 7 ± 2 km s ^−1 and a 1 σ width

Subhaloes in Self-Interacting Galactic Dark Matter Haloes
We present N-body simulations of a new class of self-interacting dark matter models, which do not violate any astrophysical constraints due to a non-power-law velocity dependence of the transfer cross section which is motivated by a Yukawa-like new gauge

Observational evidence for self-interacting cold dark matter [PDF]
Cosmological models with cold dark matter composed of weakly interacting particles predict overly dense cores in the centers of galaxies and clusters and an overly large number of halos within the Local Group compared to actual observations.

Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Spontaneous electro-weak symmetry breaking and cold dark matter
In the standard model, the weak gauge bosons and fermions obtain mass after spontaneous electro-weak symmetry breaking, which is realized through one fundamental scalar field, namely Higgs field.

Scalar dark matter and cold stars [PDF]
In a medium composed of scalar particles with non-zero mass, the range of Van-der-Waals-type scalar mediated interactions among nucleons becomes infinite when the medium makes a transition to a Bose-Einstein condensed phase. We explore this phenomenon in an astrophysical context.

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Electroweak loop contributions to the direct detection of wino dark matter
Electroweak loop corrections to the matrix elements for the spin-independent scattering of cold dark matter particles on nuclei are generally small, typically below the uncertainty in the local density of cold dark matter. However, as shown in this paper,

A Lambda CDM bounce scenario [PDF]
We study a contracting universe composed of cold dark matter and radiation, and with a positive cosmological constant. As is well known from standard cosmological perturbation theory, under the assumption of initial quantum vacuum fluctuations the ...

Ixazomib inhibits proteasome‐mediated degradation of topoisomerase I induced by irinotecan, thereby restoring drug sensitivity and promoting tumor cell death in colorectal cancer. Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I (topoI) inhibitor, is widely used for colorectal cancer, but resistance remains a major clinical challenge.
