Implemented strategies in designing, production, purification and immunogenicity of the recombinant Leptospiral immunoglobulin‐like surface protein‐A (r‐Lig A) as a vaccine candidate. ABSTRACT Background Pathogenic strains of spirochetes of Leptospira spp. cause a globally distributed zoonotic disease called leptospirosis.

Complement C4 deficiency--a plausible risk factor for non-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) infection in apparently immunocompetent patients. [PDF]
BackgroundNon-tuberculous mycobacteria (NTM) are ubiquitous in the environment and they infect mainly persons with underlying pulmonary diseases but also previously healthy elderly women.

Decidability of Existence and Construction of a Complement of a given Function [PDF]
This article defines a complement of a function and conditions for existence of such a complement function and presents few algorithms to construct a complement.

A new CdCS rat model is developed using CRISPR‐Cas9 technology. It shows impairments in cognitive and social behaviors, neuronal dendrite abnormalities in the hippocampus and mPFC, and inflammatory and immune processes in mPFC brain cells. Early AAV‐Ctnnd2 gene therapy enhances cognitive function in CdCS rats.

Complemented subspaces of products of Banach spaces [PDF]
We show that complemented subspaces of uncountable products of Banach spaces are products of complemented subspaces of countable subproducts.

Cerebral proteome adaptations to amyloid angiopathy are prevented by carbonic anhydrase inhibitors
Abstract BACKGROUND Cerebral amyloid angiopathy (CAA) is a hallmark of Alzheimer's disease (AD), linked to adverse effects of emerging AD treatments. We explored the molecular effects of CAA in mouse brain and evaluated how these could be prevented by two repurposed United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved treatments.

The Proteomic Landscape of the Coronary Accessible Heart Cell Surfaceome
ABSTRACT Cell surface proteins (surfaceome) represent key signalling and interaction molecules for therapeutic targeting, biomarker profiling and cellular phenotyping in physiological and pathological states. Here, we employed coronary artery perfusion with membrane‐impermeant biotin to label and capture the surface‐accessible proteome in the neo ...

On the complemented subspaces of X_p [PDF]
In this paper we prove some results related to the problem of isomorphically classifying the complemented subspaces of $X_{p}$. We characterize the complemented subspaces of $X_{p}$ which are isomorphic to $X_{p}$ by showing that such a space must contain a canonical complemented subspace isomorphic to $X_{p}.$ We also give some characterizations of ...

ABSTRACT Properdin is an endogenous positive regulator of the complement alternative pathway (AP). Tarperprumig (ALXN1820), a novel humanized bispecific antibody, binds properdin and albumin and is being developed to treat complement‐mediated diseases.
