Probing Electrocatalyst Design for Product Selectivity in CO2 Reduction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Selective CO2 electroreduction is controlled by catalyst structure, dynamic surface reconstruction, adsorbate interactions, and reaction microenvironment. This review summarizes Cu‐ and non‐Cu‐based catalysts, single‐atom and molecular systems, degradation pathways, and operando/computational strategies for steering CO2RR toward hydrocarbons ...

Agent‐Based Simulations of Lung Tumor Evolution Suggest That Ongoing Cell Competition Drives Realistic Clonal Expansions

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Computational simulations of tumor evolution are increasingly used to infer the rules underlying cancer growth, with the goal of one day recommending tailored treatments. Here we show that the properties of lung cancer sequencing data are best replicated by a model which assumes that cells compete both to proliferate and survive. ABSTRACT Computational

Precise Management of n‐Value Distribution at the 2D/3D Interface Enabling Efficient Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study elucidates the phase transition pathway of surface‐engineered perovskite films. During spin‐coating, n = 1 2D perovskite dominantly forms, while subsequent annealing drives OA+ release and induces conversion to higher n‐value 2D phases.

Delicate Management of Alkaline‐Substrate‐Induced Interfacial Reactions Enables High‐Efficiency and Stable Deep‐Red CsPbI3 Perovskite Light‐Emitting Diodes

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We develop a magnesium‐doping strategy to delicately modulate the alkaline substrate‐induced reactions, ensuring high‐quality CsPbI3 perovskite emissive layers with substantially improved stability. The resultant deep‐red LEDs demonstrate a high peak external quantum efficiency of 23.62% and an exceptional half‐lifetime stability of 376 h at 20 mA cm−2,

Electrocatalytic CO2 Reduction over Sn‐Cu Bimetallic Catalysts Synthesized via an Amalgamated Lithium Metal Method

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An amalgamated lithium metal method enables systematic control of Sn–Cu active‐site dimensions from isolated atoms to nanocrystallites. Increasing the metal loading shifts CO2 electroreduction selectivity from acetaldehyde on highly dispersed Sn–Cu sites to formate on Sn‐rich crystallites, revealing how bimetallic dispersion and local coordination ...
