Time-dependence of Generalized Rheological-compliance and Rheological-modulus About Rock
Creep deformation and stress relaxation are two properties of rock mass in underground engineering, but in many construction practices, rock mass is neither pure creep deformation nor pure stress relaxation, with stress and strain of rock masses ...

Creep compliance of functionalized graphene-epoxy nanocomposites
Creep behavior is observed even at room temperature in polymers and polymer composites under constant stress. In the design of structural elements using these materials, the determination of creep compliance for structural strength and performance analysis is crucial in terms of reliability and usability.

Objective Youth who experience a sport‐related knee injury have elevated odds of becoming overweight or developing obesity in 3 to 10 years, compounding their risk for posttraumatic osteoarthritis (PTOA). To inform prevention strategies, this study compared patterns of adiposity change between youth with a sport‐related knee injury and uninjured youth ...

On wave propagation in viscoelastic media with concave creep compliance [PDF]
It is proved that the attenuation function of a viscoelastic medium with a non-decreasing and concave creep compliance is sublinear in the high frequency range.

A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

Hydrogen‐Assisted Fracture of Iron‐Based Fe–Ni–Al Alloys
Principal relations and fracture mechanisms of single‐phase and precipitate‐strengthened Fe–Ni–Al alloys subjected to prior electrochemical hydrogen charging are identified. The mechanisms of hydrogen effect on strength and microhardness are discussed, including hydrogen‐induced increase in microhardness and the role of hydrogen in fracture behavior ...
