Predation by the Opossunn Didelphis marsupialis on the Rattlesnake Crotalus durissus.

The resistance of Didelphis to Crotalus venom has been demonstrated through biochemical and immunological assays. However, systematic observations on the behavior of adult Didelphis preying on venomous snakes have never been conducted.
