CXCR4 for CNS infections [PDF]
Washington University School of Medicine researchers have used Genzyme's Mozobil (AMD3100) to demonstrate that antagonizing CXC chemokine receptor 4 could be a strategy for viral encephalitis. This may provide new indications for Genzyme and other companies developing CXCR4 antagonists, but potential issues with autoimmunity loom on the horizon.

Objectives Femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) and synovitis have been recognized as essential factors for developing osteoarthritis (OA) in the hip joints. However, little is known about altered synovial cellular compositions, their associated transcriptomic profiles, and cell‐cell interactions in FAI and hip OA.

Bioinformatically analyzed relationships between specific human genes associated with HIV attachment
Introduction. Assessing interaction between the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and human factors is crucial for understanding the disease pathogenesis. HIV triggers an immune response that involves numerous cellular and molecular processes related to

The effects of NETs on regeneration of various diabetic tissues, and strategies targeting NETs for diabetes tissue regeneration. In the diabetic environment, NETs undergo complex metabolic and immune reprogramming, leading to dynamic changes in antibacterial and proinflammatory functions, and affecting regeneration of multiple systemic tissues.

CXCL14 antagonizes the CXCL12-CXCR4 signaling axis
CXCL12 and CXCL14 are evolutionarily conserved members of the CXC-type chemokine family. CXCL12 binds specifically to the G-protein-coupled receptor CXCR4 to induce the migration of primordial germ cells, hematopoietic stem cells, and inflammation ...

This work discovered a novel research that ultrasmall Fe‐curcumin immunomodulators could reinvigorate CAR‐T cells to potentiate solid tumor immunotherapy by mitigating cell exhaustion and senescence. Abstract CAR‐T cell immunotherapy has achieved exciting success in hematologic malignancies, but the therapeutic efficacy is relatively limited in solid ...

RORγt‐APCs: The New Masters of Oral Tolerance
ABSTRACT Oral tolerance is defined by the hypo‐responsiveness of our body to fed antigens, and its failure can lead to immune‐mediated diseases, such as allergy, chronic inflammation and autoimmune diseases. Decades of research have demonstrated that antigen‐presenting cells (APCs) promote oral tolerance by inducing regulatory T cells (Tregs) and/or ...
