Zinc Exposure Causes Disulfidptosis to Induce Miscarriage by Up‐Regulating GATA1/METTL1/SLC7A11 Axis
Zn exposure up‐regulates GATA1, promoting GATA1‐mediated METTL1 and SLC7A11 transcription. It also enhances METTL1‐mediated m7G modification on SLC7A11 mRNA, increasing SLC7A11 mRNA stability. Ultimately, Zn exposure up‐regulates SLC7A11 at both transcriptional and post‐transcriptional levels, causing disulfidptosis. Knockdown of murine Slc7a11, Gata1,

Phylogenetic relationships for 19 species of the subfamily Nymphalinae were inferred using 607 bp of cytochrome oxidase subunit I. The average base composition of cytochrome oxidase subunit I sequences was 37.9% T, 15.7% C, 31.5% A, and 14.9% G, showing ...

The structure of cytochrome c(L) from Methylobacterium extorquens has been determined by X-ray crystallography to a resolution of 1.6 Angstrom. This unusually large, acidic cytochrome is the physiological electron acceptor for the quinoprotein methanol ...

Nitrosyl heme emerges as an extracellular nitrodilator that dilates arteries without crossing the cell membrane. Instead, heme‐NO mobilizes NO moieties from a preformed intracellular NO store within vascular smooth muscle, providing both functional and chemical evidence for the NANOS model, revealing a previously unrecognized mechanism of arterial ...

Studies on Regioselective Binding Mode of Steroid Molecules in Homology Modeled Cytochrome P450-2C11
In this study, we investigated the regioselective binding mode of steroid molecules and structure requirements for steroid molecules for 16[alpha]-hydroxylation by Cytochrome P450-2C11.

A ruthenium-labeled cytochrome c derivative was prepared to meet two design criteria: the ruthenium group must transfer an electron rapidly to the heme group, but not alter the interaction with cytochrome c oxidase.

Ru–Mn composite nanozymes are engineered to mimic dual‐enzyme cascade catalysis, enabling efficient ROS clearance and neuroinflammation suppression. In collagenase‐ and autologous blood‐induced ICH mouse models, intranasal and intravenous administration reduced hematoma volume, preserved BBB integrity, and improved neurological recovery.

Point mutations of E243D and I67N were introduced into subunit I of a 6histidine-tagged (6H-WT) form of yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase. The two mutants (6H-E243D(I) and 6H-I67N(I)) were purified and showed ≈50 and 10% of the 6H-WT turnover number. Light-induced CO photolysis FTIR difference spectra of the 6H-WT showed
