Lenticulostriate vasculopathy is associated with various disorders, in particular cytomegalovirus infection, which can cause neurological consequences. We wanted to evaluate the association of lenticulostriate vasculopathy and cytomegalovirus infection ...

Movement Disorders in Aicardi–Goutières Syndrome and Response to Immunomodulation
ABSTRACT This study characterizes movement disorders and treatment responses in seven children with Aicardi–Goutières syndrome (AGS). We retrospectively evaluated motor phenotypes, neuroimaging, and interferon signatures in patients treated with baricitinib or anifrolumab. Spasticity affected all patients, while dystonia was present in 4/7.

Characterization of the murine cytomegalovirus early transcription unit e1 that is induced by immediate-early proteins [PDF]
The regulation of murine cytomegalovirus early (E) gene expression was studied in the cell line B25, which is stably transfected with the immediate-early ie1/ie3 gene complex.

Cytomegalovirus microRNAs facilitate persistent virus infection in salivary glands. [PDF]
Micro (mi)RNAs are small non-coding RNAs that regulate the expression of their targets' messenger RNAs through both translational inhibition and regulation of target RNA stability.

The nanostructure, size, and function of mRNA‐loaded lipid nanoparticles are evaluated before drying, within polymer microneedles, and after rehydration. The results reveal the polymer and LNP loadings required to recover nanostructure and preserve the delivery performance in dry‐state formulations.

Molecular basis for cytolytic T-lymphocyte recognition of the murine cytomegalovirus immediate-early protein pp89 [PDF]
The murine cytomegalovirus protein pp89, which is encoded by gene ieI, is a nonstructural regulatory protein expressed in the immediate-early phase of the viral replication cycle and located mainly in the nucleus of infected cells.

In this paper we demonstrate that modulator sequences upstream of the enhancer of the major immediate-early promoter of human cytomegalovirus exert a differential effect on the level of transcription in a variety of cells and that this region has the ...

Dynamic Model of Cytomegalovirus with Vertical Infection
In this paper, the problem of vertical infection of babies with cytomegalovirus in breast milk is considered,a dynamic model of cytomegalovirus is established, the equilibrium stability condition of the model is given, and the effect of randomness of breast

Solution‐Processed Thin‐Film Transistors With Tunable Temporal Dynamics for Neuromorphic Computing
Solution‐processed CNT and CNT/P3HT ion‐gated transistors exhibit materials‐defined synaptic timescales: fast CNT devices for high‐frequency spiking and slow hybrid devices for temporal integration. Embedding these dynamics into coupled reservoir‐computing and spiking neural network simulations reveals that a Hybrid‐Reservoir / CNT‐SNN architecture ...

Genetic analysis of M94 of murine cytomegalovirus [PDF]
The M94 gene of murine cytomegalovirus (MCMV) is one of the about 40 core genes of the subfamily of β-Herpesvirinae with unknown function. MCMV is utilised as an in vivo model for studying human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) due to the strict species specifity ...
