Targeting deubiquitinating enzymes in cancer: navigating context-dependence for precision medicine
The ubiquitin-proteasome system (UPS) is a master regulator of protein homeostasis, and its dysregulation is a well-established driver of oncogenesis, metastasis, and therapeutic resistance.

Deubiquitinase USP9X suppresses SHH Medulloblastoma progression by facilitating SUFU ubiquitination. SHH promotes USP9X degradation through the CMA pathway. Combined inhibition of CMA and SHH pathway had a synergically therapeutic effect on SHH Medulloblastoma.

SARS‐CoV2 Omicron and its substrains are still a critical global health issue and extremely contagious, even with widespread vaccination efforts. Hospitalizations and mortality rates linked to these variants are still prevalent. Current therapeutic options face challenges, including low effectiveness, suboptimal pharmacokinetics, and drug resistance ...

Summary Small nucleolar ribonucleic acids (snoRNAs) are a class of small non‐coding RNAs involved in the post‐transcriptional modification of ribosomal RNAs (rRNA) and small nuclear RNAs (snRNA). Mounting evidence indicates that specific snoRNAs are drivers of oncogenesis, but their role in B‐cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (BCP‐ALL) is ...

PSMD12, located on the frequently amplified 17q region in LUAD, is upregulated in tumors and associated with poor prognosis and advanced stage. Functional studies revealed that PSMD12 promotes cell proliferation and G2/M transition by inhibiting CDK1 ubiquitination and stabilizing CDK1.

This study found that BDPH1 and BDEUL12 interact with Apctf1β. They regulate growth, development, and chemical stress response in Arthrinium phaeospermum, and are crucial for its pathogenicity. ABSTRACT Arthrinium phaeospermum is the primary pathogen responsible for shoot blight disease in Bambusa pervariabilis × Dendrocalamopsis grandis.
