Syntheses of Picroroccelin Diastereomers and Their Regioisomers

Chemistry Letters, 1986
Abstract Picroroccelin, 3,6-dibenzyl-3-hydroxy-6-methoxy-1-methyl-2,5-piperazinedione, and its regioisomer were synthesized as the diastereomeric mixtures from glycine anhydride via 3,6-dibenzylidene-1-methyl-2,5-piperazinedione by eight steps.

Separation of diastereomers of methylphosphonate dinucleotides

Tetrahedron Letters, 1986
Abstract A chiral derivatizing agent, 1-menthyl chloroformate, has been used as a 3′-OH blocking group to facilitate the resolution of diastereomers of methylphosphonate dinucleotides by silica gel column chromatography.

Preparation of Dolutegravir Intermediate Diastereomer

Journal of Heterocyclic Chemistry, 2019
A convenient method was developed to prepare the diastereomer of dolutegravir tricyclic intermediate in the catalysis of EDCI/DMAP in up to 87% yield. Different solvents, temperature, and times were optimized. The synthesized diastereomer 6′ could be used as a standard for the industrial manufacture requirement of dolutegravir active pharmaceutical ...

Direct Crystallization of Enantiomers and Dissociable Diastereomers

2011
Molecules whose mirror images cannot be superimposed on each other are identified as being chiral, and a very important branch of separation science has developed around the resolution of compounds having pharmaceutical interest. At one time, scientists associated the phenomenon of optical rotation with the presence of carbon atoms bound to four ...
