TWEAK Negatively Regulates Human Dicer
The ribonuclease Dicer plays a central role in the microRNA pathway by processing microRNA precursors (pre-microRNAs) into microRNAs, a class of 19- to 24-nucleotide non-coding RNAs that regulate expression of ≈60% of the genes in humans. To gain further

A genome‐wide microRNA CRISPR screen identifies miR‐18a as a master regulator of cross‐resistance in melanoma. Loss of miR‐18a activates the AJUBA–YAP/Hippo axis to confer BRAFi resistance and enhances THBS1–CD47 interaction to impair CD8+ T cell immunity. hnRNP A1 is identified as an upstream regulator of miR‐18a processing.

UCHL3 Regulates Subgenomic Flaviviral RNA Condensates to Promote Virus Propagation
ABSTRACT Flavivirus subgenomic RNAs (sfRNAs) antagonise antiviral defences, yet how sfRNAs are organized and maintained in cells remains poorly understood. Here we identify ubiquitin C‐terminal hydrolase L3 (UCHL3) as a post‐translational regulator of flavivirus sfRNA stability and function.

A multifunctional tantalum incorporation strategy enables simultaneous tuning of carrier concentration, mitigation of grain‐boundary scattering, and enhanced phonon scattering in Mg3(Sb,Bi)2. These synergistic effects markedly improve carrier mobility and suppress lattice thermal conductivity, yielding both high material zT and high module conversion ...

HIV-1 Tat interaction with Dicer: requirement for RNA
Dicer is an RNase III which processes two classes of cellular small RNAs: the microRNAs (miRNA) and short interfering RNAs (siRNA). Previously, we observed that over-expressed HIV-1 Tat protein can suppress the processing of small RNAs inside cells. Here,

This study introduces a foundation model‐based biomarker for risk stratification of pathological response in non‐small cell lung cancer. A Vision Mamba super‐resolution model standardizes heterogeneous CT images. A multi‐task Swin Transformer then fine‐tunes a pre‐trained lung foundation model to jointly optimize tumor segmentation and response ...

We introduce a vision‐based real‐time monitoring system for additive manufacturing that detects subtle moisture‐induced degradation via a diffusion model‐based framework. The approach enables nondestructive assessment of moisture‐induced damage level and mechanical performance and establishes a practical route toward more intelligent, reliable, and ...

A nanoporous SiO2 memristor enabling reconfigurable volatile and non‐volatile switching within a single device is demonstrated. The dual‐mode functionality supports both physical reservoir dynamics and synaptic weight storage, allowing unified hardware implementation of reservoir computing for temporal information processing, including image and ...

Mammalian Dicer finds a partner [PDF]
RNA interference (RNAi) is a complex process that uses small RNAs of 21–23 nucleotides to guide sequence‐specific silencing of genetic information at both the transcriptional and post‐transcriptional levels. There are two main post‐transcriptional gene‐silencing pathways in metazoans: the microRNA (miRNA)‐mediated inhibition of translation and the ...
