Position Control in Integro-Differential Pursuit Games

Cybernetics and Systems Analysis, 2002
The authors consider a conflict-controlled process described by a system of integro-differential equations. In this way is analyzed a game problem of pursuit for a dynamic process. All integrals considered into the system are regarded in the sense of Lebesgue. The game model is built from the point of view of the pursuer whose objective is to bring the

Composition of Dynamic Control Objectives Based on Differential Games

2021 29th Mediterranean Conference on Control and Automation (MED), 2021
We present a divide and conquer design approach for handling control problems with dynamically changing objectives. The approach is based on associating each objective with a virtual input and then considering a game between a set of (virtual) players, each trying to achieve an objective by controlling the associated virtual input.

On Time Extension in Differential Games with Impulse Controls

Cybernetics and Systems Analysis, 2017
From the text: In the paper, we have obtained sufficient conditions for termination of a linear differential game with impulse controls on the basis of time extension principle without the assumption that the Pontryagin condition holds. We have specified the technique of constructing the control that leads to the objective. In the illustrative example,

Differential Games with Unbounded Versus Bounded Controls

SIAM Journal on Control and Optimization, 1998
Summary: A zero-sum differential game with an unbounded control and no coercivity assumptions is investigated. By means of suitable reparametrization techniques one is able to avoid the serious drawbacks which derive from the lack of a sufficiently fast growth hypothesis.

A Stochastic Differential Game with Controllable Statistical Parameters

IEEE Transactions on Systems Science and Cybernetics, 1967
A differential game is described where the opponents are a missile and a radar. The problem is formulated so that linear theory can be used in finding the optimal strategies of both opponents. The missile uses a mixed strategy by adding white noise into its controller.

Algorithms for Differential Games with Bounded Control and State

1981
Pursuit and evasion problems are probably the most natural application of differential game theory and have been treated by many authors as such. Very few problems of this class can be solved analytically. Fast and efficient numerical algorithms are needed to solve for an optimal or near optimal solution of a realistic pursuit and evasion differential ...
