Regiospecific Analysis of Mono- and Diglycerides in Glycerolysis Products by GC × GC-TOF-MS [PDF]
Comprehensive bidimensional gas chromatography coupled with time-of-flight mass spectrometry (GC × GC-TOF-MS) was used for the characterization of regiospecific mono- and diglycerides (MG-DG) content in the glycerolysis products derived from five ...

The incorporation of14C‐glycerol into different species of diglycerides and triglycerides in rat liver slices [PDF]
The relative rates of de novo synthesis of species of diglycerides and triglycerides from14C‐glycerol were examined in rat liver slices. Diglycerides containing one or two double bonds per molecule and triglycerides containing four or more double bonds ...

Molecular species of mono-, di-, and triphosphoinositides of bovine brain
The mono-, di-, and triphosphoinositides of bovine brain were isolated by chromatography on columns of DEAE-cellulose, alumina, and silicic acid. The major molecular species in each phosphoinositide class were identified and quantitatively estimated by ...

Synthesis of lipids from acetate by human preputial and abdominal skin in vitro
Lipogenesis in vitro from acetate-1-14C was studied in human preputial skin and abdominal skin. Radioactive lipids were separated by column chromatography on Florisil and by thin-layer chromatography on silica gel.

The diglyceride kinase of rat cerebral cortex [PDF]
1. Formation of phosphatidic acid by diglyceride kinase (EC 2.7.1.-) in the presence of ATP and Mg2+ was shown in a homogenate and subcellular fractions of rat cerebral cortex. 2. The kinase was activated by Mg2+. Ca2+ activated to a smaller extent but was inhibitory in the presence of optimum concentration of Mg2+.

Diglyceride kinase in human platelets
Human platelets contain diglyceride kinase, an enzyme that catalyzes the phosphorylation of diacylglycerol by adenosine 5'-triphosphate to yield phosphatidic acid. The majority of the platelet enzyme is particulate-bound, and membrane fractions of platelet homogenates have a higher specific activity than granule fractions.
