New push–pull para‐azaquinodimethane derivatives were synthetized through a sustainable protocol. Transient absorption results showed ultrafast intermolecular singlet fission (SF) in film and demonstrated for AsOMe higher triplet energy than for literature SF materials, with intriguing perspectives for photovoltaics toward silicon matched SF.

Antimicrobial and Biofilm Inhibiting Diketopiperazines
Diketopiperazines are the smallest cyclic peptides known. 90% of Gram-negative bacteria produce diketopiperazines and they have also been isolated from Gram-positive bacteria, fungi and higher organisms. Biosynthesis of cyclodipeptides can be achieved by dedicated nonribosomal peptide synthetases or by a novel type of synthetases named cyclopeptide ...

Abstract Background G protein‐coupled receptors are a large and functionally diverse family of membrane receptors involved in a number of biological processes. Like other proteins, G protein‐coupled receptors need to be properly folded in order to traffic to the plasma membrane and interact with agonist.

The Fluorescence of Tyrosyl and Tryptophanyl Diketopiperazines
Abstract The influence of the peptide group on the quantum yield of phenol and indole has been evaluated from fluorescence measurements on the diketopiperazines of the two chromophores. Strong quenching of both groups occurs in water which is almost completely eliminated in dioxane and dimethyl sulfoxide.

Safety of nonapeptide–pentapeptide mixture as a novel food pursuant to regulation (EU) 2015/2283
Abstract Following a request from the European Commission, the EFSA Panel on Nutrition, Novel Foods and Food Allergens (NDA) was asked to deliver an opinion on a nonapeptide–pentapeptide mixture as a novel food (NF) pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2015/2283. The NF is a mixture composed of a 1:1 combination of nonapeptide and pentapeptide.

Helper and ionizable lipids play a crucial role in determining ApoE binding and subsequent liver tropism and LDLR‐mediated uptake. Ionizable lipids primarily govern the LDLR‐independent uptake pathway. This complementary interplay between lipid components ultimately governs LNP delivery performance and therapeutic efficacy in the liver.
