A validated HPLC determination of the flavone aglycone diosmetin in human plasma
Biomedical Chromatography, 2004AbstractDiosmetin, 3′,5,7‐trihydroxy‐4′‐methoxyflavone, is the aglycone of the flavonoid glycoside diosmin that occurs naturally in foods of plant origin. Diosmin exhibits antioxidant and anti‐inflammatory activities, improves venous tone and it is used for the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency.

2010 4th International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedical Engineering, 2010Galium verum L. is a wild plant from Northeast China, this grass is well known as an excellent food source of vitamin, and it also contains phytochemicals such as chlorogenic acid,salicylic acid and flavone.
