Structural insights and therapeutic targets in Acinetobacter baumannii capsule biosynthesis
Hypervirulent KL49 A. baumannii's capsular polysaccharide contains the nonulosonic acid 8‐epi‐Leg5,7Ac2, synthesized by epimerization via ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC. Crystal structures of ElaA, ElaB, and ElaC reveal their role in CMP‐Leg5,7Ac2 synthesis and regioselective C8 epimerization.

DNA methylation analysis explores the molecular basis of plasma cell-free DNA fragmentation
Plasma cell-free DNA (cfDNA) are small molecules generated through a non-random fragmentation procedure. Despite commendable translational values in cancer liquid biopsy, however, the biology of cfDNA, especially the principles of cfDNA fragmentation ...

Генетические факторы нарушения сперматогенеза у мужчин со сниженной репродуктивной функцией
Aims. The correlation of DNA fragmentation level with classic sperm parameters, the male age and the level of immature spermatozoa and sperm aneuploidies was investigated. Methods.

Relationship between sperm progressive motility and DNA integrity in fertile and infertile men
Background: Progressive sperm motility was found to be predictive for in vitro and in vivo fertilization. There has been an increase in the literature of studies investigating whether DNA fragmentation could be associated with other semen parameters ...

Pre‐analytical handling critically determines liquid biopsy performance. This study defines practical best‐practice conditions for cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) and extracellular vesicle–derived DNA (evDNA), showing how processing time, storage conditions, tube type, and plasma input volume affect DNA integrity and mutation detection.

Dynamics of sperm DNA fragmentation in domestic animals - II. The stallion
The mixed success of equine artificial insemination programs using chilled and frozen-thawed semen is most likely associated with the variable response of the sperm cell to the preservation process and the fact that stallions are not selected on the ...

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...
