Docetaxel facilitates lymphatic-tumor crosstalk to promote lymphangiogenesis and cancer progression
Background Infiltration into lymphatic vessels is a critical step in breast cancer metastasis. Lymphatics undergo changes that facilitate metastasis as a result of activation of the cells lining lymphatic vessels, lymphatic endothelial cells (LECs ...

Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer
Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.

Docetaxel-resistance in prostate cancer: evaluating associated phenotypic changes and potential for resistance transfer via exosomes. [PDF]
BackgroundHormone-refractory prostate cancer remains hindered by inevitable progression of resistance to first-line treatment with docetaxel. Recent studies suggest that phenotypic changes associated with cancer may be transferred from cell-to-cell via ...

A human 3D bone niche integrating osteoblasts and osteoclasts enables co‐culture with prostate cancer cell lines and patient‐derived organoids. The engineered niche (i) models aspects of reciprocal phenotypic regulation between osteoblasts and cancer cells, (ii) captures osteoclast‐enhanced osteomimicry in tumor cells, and (iii) establishes a ...

Docetaxel Enhances the Expression of STING Protein in PC3 Cells, and cGAMP Attenuates this Effect
Background: The stimulator of interferon genes (STING) agonist (cGAMP) kills the cancer cells through the activation of the innate immune system. PC3 cells are high in BTK and low in STING.

Predictors of Toxicity of Weekly Docetaxel in Chemotherapy-Treated Non- Small Cell Lung Cancers
Weekly docetaxel. seems to be safe and effective compared with traditional triweekly docetaxel. as a second-line treatment for non-small cell lung cancer. However, the risk factors for severe toxicity of weekly docetaxel in this group of patients are not

This study establishes a CT‐based radiomics framework to quantify intratumoral heterogeneity (ITH) in HNSCC. Using unsupervised clustering, tumor ROIs and VOIs are analyzed to calculate 2D/3D ITH scores. The score shows strong predictive value for prognosis and immunotherapy response, and is associated with tumor metabolism and immune microenvironment,

Docetaxel Labeled with Iodine 131 Radionuclide – A Possible New Anticancer Drug? (The Pilot Study)
The cytotoxic potentials of the lipiodol emulsion with dissolved 131I-docetaxel, the 131I-lipiodol emulsion and non-labeled docetaxel were tested on the HeLa Hep2 cell line during 24 hours.
